[ Marita has spent the past few days at the library in an attempt to scourge any information she can find ― her discovery being next to none other than what she knows of her own world. She's leafed through pages upon other worlds, stopping to take an interest here and there to read lines and paragraphs that jump out at her, until the words began to blur into dark lines of letters and phrases muddled together in an unreadable mess.
It all sounded quite fictional to her.
Of course, if proper information were that easy to obtain then she wouldn't be looking for it in public facilities. Despite her not knowing where her stance lies in this world, she is fairly settled in; she's already rid herself of the white sundress and now adorns the regular comfort of her clean-cut suits and skirts. She feels in control, despite knowing she isn't. ]
It looks as if I am not the only one who has currently arrived here, considering the mass influx of others who have as well. The powers here seem to find their work unlimited to just one universe or one abduction.
Which poses the question: if not God then how powerful of a being could ever commit pulling people from multiple worlds to bring them into one singular world? Have they crossed over into our own worlds to effect the nature of it or is their power just limited to bringing us to this place alone? Is time altered in our absence?
There are more questions begged to be asked, but having diplomatic experience in a location without a city hall seems not to matter if we are here against our own will.

[Spock's eyes convey a certain amount of frustration at her next inquiry...]
There is not enough information. Though a safe assumption is that they are... 'collectors'....they are... curious.

Mr. Spock... Has anyone ever told you that you exist in their world? Someone you don't recognize, perhaps.

...but his mouth twitches in a half-smile.]
Indeed. Most seem to know of me through a television series. Though there are many differences and inconsistencies... it is rather a source of amusement.
[His expression turns more somber...]
However, that is not me... Has something similar happened to you?

...wrong thing to say.]
There are several universes here represented.... in my universe, I am not fiction.
There are those in Luceti who only exist in fiction in my universe... and they, as are the rest of us, are decidedly real in this place.

I do not believe that is how they function. It is not a matter of existence or non-existence... For they too are trapped in this world.
It is the world itself that concerns me.

Unless this world itself were a simulation...
no subject
Though he does regard he with another look... Those had been his thoughts exactly. ]
You intrigue me Miss Marita... not many would regard that as a possibility.
no subject
Do you believe we are part of a simulation?
no subject
It is the technological inconsistencies have me questioning the reality state. Simulation though would not be the correct word... rather, a projection... similar to that of an advanced computer program.

Normally, a fully trained, healthy, adult Vulcan has no issues protecting his mind from outward sources...
Yet... They have done so. It may be a 'difficult' theory... however, it is plausible and should not be ruled out.
no subject
It's difficult, but not impossible. Their capabilities so far have shown more than just human standards of experimentation that it would be pointless to rule out even the simplest explanations.

[Spock regards Marita for a moment...] My apologies if I have alarmed or confused you...

There are always beings more powerful than us, it's how they use that power to their advantage that makes up the system. Wether we are truly here or simulations in a singular world... we may exist outside of regular terms, but in theory, we still exist regardless.
I Love Interacting with you! XD
Not enough variables for the equation.
Ka'adith. [Spock looks at Marita, and gives her a rare Vulcan half-smile...]
Oh my, thank you! The same to you. :)
What does that mean?
:3

If you don't mind my asking, Mr. Spock... I'm curious to know about the sort of world you lived in prior to arriving at Luceti.
no subject
...It is rather cold here.
[Spock 'plays' with his tea cup... how unVulcan-like...]

[ Marita only knows to an extent of the world from where Spock is from, that interplanetary travel is a big aspect. Even if she is only human, she cannot help but want to satisfy the curiosity of all she has seen and experienced in the past few years. There are things she knows she cannot explain and perhaps they never will be fully explained, but she seeks to find as much information as she can by those from similar worlds. ]

No matter, he trusts this woman.]
I am the First Officer and head science officer on board the Starship Enterprise...I conduct research and undergo peaceable missions on many planets.
Though I am Vulcan, I am only half-Vulcan... my mother was human. I spent much of my time on earth because of her and the Academy where I underwent my education for Starfleet.
[If there has been any hint of past tense... well... Spock's eyes are a bit sad.]

As you already must have assumed, I am from Earth myself... it's a huge advancement for someone to be two different... forgive me for lack of a better word, 'species' from separate planets to create any sort of sentient life form. It is completely unheard of during my time, it's currently biologically impossible to us.
Which tells me you're from the future. Do you happen to know the Earth year before you arrived?
