The freedom here is as stilted as it was in Fort Marlene. Free to wander around, but always under the gaze of someone much more powerful. The wings were an ironic touch. ]

I was told that the wings are used for communication... to hold one single language so that everyone here can speak and understand each other simultaneously. [ Ideal, but only Biblical, she always tells herself. If the world could speak on singular language, it would be a tremendous breakthrough in a way of finding world peace and proper diplomacy. ] I would ask how that is even possible... but I'm assured that there would be no answer for it. At least, not from those brought here from another world.
